Turboant X7 Pro Folding E-Scooter
It’s an upgrade from X7
I’ve been working with Turboant since 2019. Previously, I reviewed the X7 scooter too on my YouTube channel. Unfortunately, my 1st X7 got stolen and the 2nd’s rear-wheel needs replacement.
The X7 Pro came at a perfect time when I need a scooter and while I’m waiting for my replacement. I received the X7 Pro in April and have been riding it almost daily.
THREE MODES
There are 3 modes to choose from — Beginner, eco, sport. Beginner goes up to 6 mph, eco up to 12 mph, and sport is full-on throttle to max speed. If you have just bought this scooter, I suggest you ride on beginner or eco mode before going to sports mode. The reason is the acceleration curve is pretty quick and might be too much to handle for a new rider.
PORTABLE
You can easily fold the X7 Pro and store it in the car trunk or garage corner. With a weight of 33 lbs, the scooter is can easily be carried anywhere.
SMOOTH RIDE QUALITY
Although there are no shock absorbers in the X7 Pro, the 10-inch tubed pneumatic tires allow for super-smooth ride quality. The max range and max speed are 30 miles and 20 mph, respectively. The max load supported is 275 lbs.
The X7 Pro is an improvement from X7. Firstly, the wheels are bigger, and secondly, the range is increased from 16 to 30 miles.
TRIPLE BRAKING SYSTEM
The rear disc brake, foot brake, and front brake are good at any speed. I’m riding at 15 mph yet it’s a smooth and safe ride.
LARGE DECK
The deck is easy to stand on and is coated in grippy rubber. A larger motor of 350W calls for a bigger deck, compared to the X7.
TWO CHARGING METHODS
Use scooter unit charging or detached battery charging. This is useful for people like me who forget to charge the scooter the previous night. Just detach the battery and charge anywhere; or better yet, carry an extra battery.
